I'm currently using the film as part of my interfaith workshops on Faith and Fair trade, and I'm hoping to develop these into a wider fair trade campaign, focusing particularly on Muslims in the UK. The response has been good for the workshops I've done so far, and the film has sparked some good discussions.
If you watch the video it would be good to hear what you think. Also, I'm trying to spread it as wide as I can, so if you can help or advice with that it would be appreciated. Divine Chocolate and the Tony Blair Faith Foundation have already asked to use it one their web sites, and the fair trade cooperative in Ghana, Kuapa Kokoo, may also be using it for theirs. The Fairtrade Foundation are exploring ways to use it, and Bruce Crowther from the Fairtrade Towns movement has already asked for a DVD copy to be used at his events.
We now have our brand new Guide to Fair and Ethical Traders. This Guide covers Birmingham City Centre but our complete guide will be available on our website soon. If you would like a copy of the Guide Booklet fill in the contact form on the website www.fairtradebirmingham.co.uk with your address details and we will pop one in the post. Happy Shopping!
